15 July 2024 – The Embassy took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine.

The events took place on the square in front of the Assumption Cathedral on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and on the square in front of St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.

The event was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) and the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders of Ukrainian churches and religious organizations, chaplains, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
