On 24th of June, the Sovereign Military Order of Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and Malta, also known as the Sovereign Order of Malta, celebrates the “national” holiday – the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, the Patron Saint of the Order.

On the occasion of this bright holiday, the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Ukraine sincerely congratulates all Knights and Dames – members of the Order, as well as volunteers, medics, chaplains of the Order of Malta and the Relief Corps of the Sovereign Order of Malta, in particularly of the Malteser Relief Service of Ukraine.

We would like to express special gratitude to the benefactors, philanthropists, all friends and all those who are united by the octagonal white cross of the Order and by the ancient values of the Hospitallers in accordance with the motto of the Order “Tuitio fidei et obsequium pauperum”. We also thank all those who, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, have been actively involved in the implementation of numerous projects of the Order aimed at helping and supporting the victims.

We pray that our Patron Saint will continue to protect us all in these times and always accompany us in our service to those in need.
